Web Design (Picasso) - Course Overview

This project-based course teaches students how to build their own web pages using HTML and CSS. By the end of the course, students will have created their own live, mobile-responsive websites that serve as professional portfolios showcasing their work. Additionally, the course emphasizes practical skills that are highly relevant for college or the workforce.

   2. Project - Create Your Homepage
      • Build a personal website on a custom domain.
      • Continuously update and refine the website throughout the course.
      • Serve as a portfolio for all creative projects.
3. Weeks 3 and 4
   1. Advanced HTML and CSS
      • Dive deeper into advanced HTML and CSS concepts.
      • Apply techniques like visibility, image filtering, interaction, and animation.
      • Create more sophisticated, professional websites.
4. Week 5
   1. Project - Tell a Story
      • Design and develop an animated, interactive web page that tells a story.
      • Add the project to your portfolio website.
5. Weeks 6 and 7
   1. Bootstrap - Building Responsive Websites
      • Learn Bootstrap, an HTML and CSS framework.
      • Create professional, mobile-responsive websites.
6. Weeks 8 & 9
   1. Bootstrap Project
      • Create a responsive, professional website using Bootstrap.
7. Week 10
   • Practice for the Certification Exam
   • Take the Certification Exam
