​Roblox Game Creation Camp

Dive into the exciting world of game development with our Roblox Game Creation Camp! This camp is designed to introduce young students to the fundamentals of video game design and development using Roblox Studio, the platform behind the popular games they already love to play. Students will gain hands-on experience learning how games are made, from initial design concepts to publishing their very own creations on Roblox.

Throughout the week, participants will:

• Explore the basics of game creation and design principles.
• Use Roblox Studio, a powerful and beginner-friendly sandbox tool, to build their own games.
• Create fun and interactive experiences, like obstacle courses ("obbies").
• Customize their games to reflect their unique ideas and creativity.
• Publish their finished projects to Roblox, allowing friends and family to play and enjoy their work!

This camp balances guided learning sessions with creative development time, empowering students to build confidence in their skills while fostering their imagination.

Tuesday

Wednesday

• Section 5: Customization and Beyond - Learn how to add unique features like custom scripts, textures, and gameplay mechanics.
• Creative Brainstorming: Collaborate and share ideas for individual game projects.

Thursday

• Creative Game Development Time (Design & Development Phase): Begin building your own game, taking it from concept to a playable experience.

Friday

• Creative Game Development Time (Finalizing Phase): Add the finishing touches to your game, including debugging and polishing.
• Sharing Session: Present and share your completed games with friends and family!
