What is the micro:bit?

  3. Week 3: Counting Variables – Understand how the micro:bit stores and updates data.
  4. Week 4: Light and Temperature Sensors – Use the micro:bit to measure light and temperature.
  5. Week 5: Pins and Conductivity – Experiment with wires, pins, and creating circuits.
  6. Week 6: The Starter Challenge – Create a unique micro:bit project using everything learned so far.
  7. Week 7: Magnetism and Logic – Use the micro:bit’s magnetometer (compass) and logic functions.
  8. Week 8: Using Logic – Program the micro:bit to make decisions based on conditions.
  9. Week 9: Creating Sounds – Generate music and sounds with the micro:bit.
  10. Week 10: Recording Data – Collect and analyse real-world data (e.g., movements or environmental conditions).
  11. Week 11: Earthquake Data – Simulate recording earthquake vibrations using sensors.
  12. Week 12: Smart Sustainable Home Challenge – Design and build a digital solution for a sustainable home.
